About the artist:

Bob Bongard (New York, NY) has been a fixture in Clinton Hill for most of his life. As the only child of vaudeville performers, he was given the gift of infinite creativity, first as a jazz musician and singer, and now as an artist with a singular vision. Using primarily found objects and everyday materials, his work is truly visionary, and features a variety of subjects he knows and loves, including chorus girls, musicians, buildings and gardens. His detailed drawings from memory of famous buildings and local architecture balance obsessive detail with playful humor, garnering fans and collectors from all walks of life.
